My husband took the day off work. I got myself ready and headed out to my job. I only got a mile away and the car broke down—just sputtered a bit and died. It wouldn’t even turn over. My husband wasn’t answering his phone, so I walked home and found him in bed with the teenage neighbor girl. It turns out that this has been happening for a while. I am shocked—stunned!
What do I do? Please help.

Wow! This happens more than you think.
First, check the oil and the fuel gauge. Make sure the lights work without the key on. Try wiggling the battery terminals, and check the belt on the alternator (or the serpentine belt if it’s a newer car). If this doesn’t work, you may have to call for a tow truck. I hope this helps, and let me know how it goes.
All the best,
Thanks to Jim for this Manly Manny post!
